Cafferty has it right: China makes junk and sends it here

A group of protestors, numbering somewhere between 2,000 and 5,000, and described as Chinese-Americans, decided to protest CNN’s Hollywood office yesterday, protesting CNN’s commentator Jack Cafferty, who made a comment on CNN’s The Situation Room, back on April 9 — almost two weeks ago. Among his comments that day, Cafferty apparently called China’s goods “junk” and its leaders a “bunch of goons and thugs.”

ResMed, one of the leading manufacturers of equipment used to treat sleep apnea, has issued a worldwide recall for more than one-quarter of a million CPAP machines due to a potential risk with the power supply connector.

SanDisk keyfob bloatware needs some work

When I began fiddling with the SanDisk Cruzer, I found it has this “desktop” software, so you can encrypt the contents of the drive. That’s a nice idea, but since I have no idea what’s behind that encryption, and didn’t take time to hack it, I decided to simply wipe the drive and use it how I use all keyfobs: using my own encryption source. I didn’t wipe everything off the drive, though, until I played with the stuff that came as bonus features.
