Contact Form
This is the official Scoop’s Views contact form. Feel free to use it to contact me via email for any purpose. There are, however, a few exceptions. They are:
- Do not send me SPAM.
- Do not send me any political ad.
- Do not send me any kind of advertising.
- Do not send me any offer to assist you with retrieving money from some third-world country.
- Do not send me offers related to lotteries.
- Do not send me forwards of email jokes you’ve received, or "email alerts" about some politician you think ought not be re-elected.
- Do not send offers about "enhancing" any sexual organs.
- Do not send me a personal message telling me I am cold, callous, and insensitive. I’ve lived long enough to be passionate about the things that are important to me, callous and cold to the things which I oppose, and embrace things that are good. If you don’t agree with my opinions, post your opinions and comments at the end of the post that set your passions ablaze and let everyone know. If you bring it to me, as a personal note, well, it will be dismissed, as I do not know you, and unless the post is specifically about you, I refuse to take the matter to a personal level with a stranger. If that’s your thoughts, especially based on one of the posts I make on this site, then leave your comments — without vulgar or inappropriate language — in the comments section for the post in question. Be forewarned, however, that if you feel compelled to use vulgar or inappropriate language in your comments, the server will automatically delete your message because machines do as they are instructed.
- Do not send me links or requests to sign any sort of petition.
- All email must conform to the Scoop0901.net domain anti-SPAM policy, as plainly stated at http://scoop0901.net/junkdec.htm. Any violation will be subject to the terms and conditions of the policy in force at the time the email is sent. If you think the policy is not enforced, think again. In fact, the policy actually has provided for several external USB drives, a few other tech toys, and "just because" gifts for family members. It’s a great money-maker for people who think they have a "right" to SPAM others simply because they have an email address.
All that said, let me emphasize that when you send me an email, I appreciate people who are clean in what they write. For example, someone I once sent me an email that read: "Please tell me about jellyfish." The first — and last — thought I had about that particular email (and person) is the sender should have opened an encyclopedia, or, because the person has Internet access, entered "jellyfish" into one of the many search engines on the Internet. Needless to say, I did not reply to that email.
Write an email, if you like, but just be clear about why you are writing. If I have to get out the crystal ball to figure out the message, I will not be happy.
