Is the British government ready to collapse?

Back on August 1, 2007, I found a site that offered "predictions" for this year, and because I like to see how badly these prophets-of-fear fall on their face, I often toss them into my database, tag them, and set a reminder to check on this late.
According to one "prediction" that seemingly has gone afoul already, the British government was supposed to collapse this month.
In a story posted at http://icwales.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/0200wales/tm_headline=and-here-is-the-news-for-2008%26method=full%26objectid=19549739%26siteid=50082-name_page.html, which I found on August 1, 2007, as I noted, the prediction was that the British government is forecast to be close to collapse after heightened frustrations over failure to resolve the Iraq crisis.
Since the Brits have given up on Iraq, packed up, and gone home, where’s this prediction rank? In the toilet bowl?
