Can Obama really cure all America’s ails? Or is it ales?

May 15, 2008 at 7:02 am (EDT)

Imagine someone you know going into a coma tomorrow. With the November 2008 Presidential election several months off, they’d have no idea the outcome when they wake from the coma, if ever.

Trying to remain eternally optimistic, though, let’s suppose that person wakes from the coma in 2015, about seven years from now. Can you imagine what a different world it could be?

Imagine if presidential candidate Barack Obama is elected president in November 2008, and, on January 20, 2009, assumes offices of President of the United States. Barack Obama says he has a plan for national health care. Barack Obama says he has a plan to lower the cost of gasoline, sort of. Obama says he has a cure for all the woes and ails of society.

Listening to Barack Obama, and worse, his wife, Michelle Obama, speak, is sickening. In fact, it’s almost akin to listening to the Devil hissing in your ear, daring you to ignore all you know to be right and good, surrendering your will, and doing all you know to be evil, bad, and horrible. In that line of thought, perhaps what we, as a nation, are dealing with is not so much what ails us as a nation, but the ale of which we partake.

Below is a short video created by some really thoughtful people. Jesus Christ! No. Barack Obama. Huh? Just watch the video and it will all be cleared up in a couple of minutes.

So, what are your thoughts on the video?
