One convicted cop killer Troy Anthony Davis, was spared his life, at least for now, by the U.S. . Davis’ life, for now, has being spared, but it was on a day when one Philadelphia police officer was killed and other wounded by other worthless societal degenerates, one of whom is now dead.

In the past year, four Philadelphia police officers has given their lives in the line of duty.

Philadelphia Police Officer Patrick McDonald Officer Patrick McDonald, 30, was killed, authorities said.

Philadelphia police officer Richard Bowes Another officer, Richard Bowes, 35, was shot in the leg and expected to recover.

The shootings, which took place around 1:45 p.m., happened in the 2200 block of north Colorado Street, in North Philadelphia.

Both officers were taken to nearby Temple University hospital.

“We cannot continue this kind of behavior in this city,” Mayor Michael Nutter said at a news conference Tuesday afternoon. “We are deeply saddened, we are hurt, we are in pain and we are angry about what is going on in our city.”

Authorities said McDonald called for backup at 1:45 p.m., adding they believe he had already been shot multiple times at that point. Officer McDonald was pronounced dead at 2:08 p.m.

Bowes, one of the officers who responded to McDonald’s call for back up, according to police said, was chasing a gunman when he was hit as he exchanged gunfire with the suspects. Bowes was in stable condition at Temple, Nutter said.

Officer McDonald was single and had no children. He was an eight-year veteran of the force.

Bowes has three children and has been a Philadelphia police officer for 12 years, according to police.

Around 100 police officers lined the roadway out of Temple University Hospital around 6 p.m. as a salute to their fallen comrade, as Officer McDonald’s body was taken from the hospital by hearse.

DanielGiddingscopy[1] Police said one suspect, 27-year-old Daniel Giddings, was shot dead at 17th and Dauphin Streets. An automatic weapon was recovered at the scene, they added, noting that Giddings is known to local officers.

Late this past August, Giddings assaulted four police officers inside a home following a brief chase. Two of those four officers required hospital treatment for injuries to their back, neck and arms.

May Officer McDonald rest in peace.

May Daniel Giddings rot in hell for eternity.
