Brash, abrasive, and shoots from
the hip. Yep, that describes me.

Bush tells Iraq give us full control or else

U.S. to Insist Iraq Grant It Wide Mandate in Operations
With its international mandate in Iraq set to expire,
the Bush administration will insist that the government
in Baghdad give the United States broad authority to
conduct combat operations and guarantee civilian
contractors immunity from Iraqi law, according to
administration and military officials.

Oh, yes, what a major surprise this is, right? Not hardly.

When Bush and Company charged into Iraq, it was clear that the issue was not that the late Saddam Hussein was involved in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001, nor that Iraq was supporting terrorism or hiding weapons of mass destruction.

In fact, the entire issue came down to a few things. First was that Shrub (George W. Bush) wanted to be seen as a “great president, a war president,” but, do to his own ignorance, he will go down as less-than-mediocre. Second is oil, black crude, Texas tea. Third, or perhaps second, was a vendetta to “get even” for Daddy (George H.W. Bush) and Gulf War I.

Now that the international mandate is set to expire, Bush is playing his cards — and pulling the Aces from up his sleeve: I’ve got a way to stay, with or without support. I will tell Iraq to give me full control or we will leave.

No wonder the joker we call “president” went AWOL from the Texas Air National Guard: he hasn’t a backbone or leadership skill that a catfish has.
