For three weeks back in 2002, John Allen Mohammad,
along with his teenage partner, Lee Malvo, terrorized many in the Washington, D.C. area by shooting and killing people with a sniper rifle.
After being caught, several jurisdictions fought over Mohammad, but in the end, it was determined by which jurisdictions could and would seek the death penalty for his actions.
At 9:06 p.m., and at 9:11 p.m., he was pronounced dead.
Goodbye, John Allen Mohammad.
