If elections could really create change …

November 4th, 2008

If elections, or rather the end result of elections, could create change, especially the kind of change that a couple of politicians, especially one who’s grossly inexperienced, do you think you, as a citizen, would have a say?

Think about it for a second: if you could really cause a positive (or negative) impact on the future of the country, do you think American citizens would have the right to speak their mind about the outcome, let alone participate in the process?

Obama camp cranks up mean machine; seeks to hog-tie free speech

October 29th, 2008

The Republican National Trust PAC sent out an alert today that the camp of Senator Barack Hussein Obama has cranked up the mean machine, working overtime to make fellow senator John McCain look bad.

Obama listening to people in Kentucky, Florida, and Michigan

May 21st, 2008

While Hillary Clinton focuses on staying in the 2008 presidential race as long as possible, meaning as long as she and former president and husband Bill Clinton, can afford to make loans to her campaign, Barack Obama is busy personally answering calls from concerned voters in Kentucky, Florida, and Michigan.

The latest politician caught in the adulterous web is the six-term Rep. Vito Fossella (R-NY), who was nabbed by police in Alexandria, Virginia, just after midnight on May 1.

Obama, Obama, Osama, Obama. Oops.

February 6th, 2008

Barack Obama has one of those names that just doesn’t roll off my tongue. No amount of practice will make that happen, it seems. In an effort to try to make his name one of those one the tip of my tongue names, I even tried using the tune from Louie Louie, a classic rock and roll song, written in 1955 by Chuck Berry, singing, Obama, Obama, but what happened next, most likely predictable, especially in this day and age, things changed.

As I sang the self-created lyrics in an effort to get Obama’s name a familiar roll on my tongue, the words, Obama, Obama … yeah, Obama, Obama became, eerily enough, Obama, Obama … Osama, Obama.
