Obama camp cranks up mean machine; seeks to hog-tie free speech

Barack Obama stands with his hands clasped in front of his crotch during the Pledge of Allegiance. Some respect from someone who longs to be president of the United States, huh? The Republican National Trust PAC sent out an alert today that the camp of Senator Barack Hussein Obama has cranked up the mean machine, working overtime to make fellow senator John McCain look bad.

In the alert, the Republican National Trust PAC said this is “one of the most vicious assaults ever waged on the Republican party by the liberal media establishment.”

Let the hipsters worry about it

Medicare Part D - For many of our older folks and disabled citizens, it seems the only way to get prescription medications is to slip into Mexico, back into the U.S., get declared an illegal immigrant, then your worries are over. I bet Congress would but its foot down on illegal immigration if the nation's senior citizens began going this route, just to save some money.

It seems some five million of our oldest, as well as disabled, citizens, have not yet signed up for their Medicare Part D drug plan. To help them, what does Congress do? Decide to not grant them an extension.

Remember, the folks who qualify for Medicare are people who are old, who have paid into the system, and in many cases, confused by all the rhetoric of “the plan” the government is pushing.

As for the comic, here’s a hat tip to my friend, Stan M., for passing it along. The comic seems, sadly enough, to sum up the situation for many of our country’s oldest and most disabled.

Come to the U.S. legally and have no worries …

It’s scary to think I might ever agree with a talk show commentator. What’s scarier, in fact, is that I find myself actually in that position today, agreeing with Carlson Tucker, a commentator for Fox News.
