Forget new gun laws in Pennsylvania; imprison scum
Do I own any firearms? Ha! If you want to find out, visit my home, especially uninvited, and make sure all the lights in my home are off. If you don’t, I will, as I love walking about in pitch blackness. I also love hunting my prey in the dark, as I can see just fine, and let me assure you: you may have walked in, but you’ll be carried out in a body bag. Be sure to bring your own, please. There’s no need for the taxpayers to pay for your dead, useless carcass to be hauled away.
That point clarified, let’s discuss the idea Philadelphia’s lame duck Mayor, along with Pennsylvania’s governor, Ed Rendell, have in mind. Restricting the purchase of handguns to one per month. In what his publicist calls, “unprecedented testimony before the state House Judiciary Committee,” Rendell told the General Assembly this past Tuesday, November 20, 2007, that it needed to “enact legislation to stop the profusion of illegal handguns, curb violent crime, and ensure the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens.”
