Beauty, they say, is skin deep. The proverbial “they” also says beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If you’re the “Living” editor at CNN, your eyes are seeing things much differently than mine, as well as that of many others in publishing a photo series focused on Generation Y and the American flag.
It seems the photographer, Sheila Pree Bright, is a little confused about what “respect” of the American flag — following proper flag etiquette — means. Only one photo truly is respectful, and that is the photo of Kristen Alexis Kucks. The only other photo that is somewhat respectful is that of Amy C. Ashton.
