New Orleans escaped by a thread and prayer

(Scoop0901) With all the local, state, and federal resources – money and manpower – that were poured into Louisiana, especially New Orleans, it’s hard to think that anything more than prayer saved the city from being ravaged at least as bad, if not worse, than it was a short three years ago.

Despite all the money pumped into coordinating services and evacuations, an estimated 10,000 residents of New Orleans stayed in town despite the mandatory evacuation orders. It’s hard to imagine these people would test their luck and stay.

Bankrupt Sharper Image robbed customers

I’ve considered buying from Sharper Image in the past, but now with the company in bankruptcy proceedings, a lot of stuff is becoming clear about my horse sense.

Have you ever considered doing something or going somewhere, but even the mere thought gave you a bad impression? Well, that’s how it was with a lot of the disclaimers that were on the site the times I considered making a purchase: it make me nauseous.

If you’re a thief in Bal Harbour, Florida, you may want to give second thoughts to that stealing habit, as the cops may be able to track your every step without you knowing it. For some, such as the Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, the Holy family in Christian circles, at least, they are getting tagged with GPS trackers to protect themselves.
