Mother who murdered baby in microwave given life sentence

A Dayton, Ohio jury, though not reaching a consensus, convicted a local woman to life in prison without the chance of parole in the horrific, sense-overwhelming, and logic-defying murder of her daughter.

China Arnold, who decided not to be present in the courtroom when the verdict was read, was sentenced for killing her baby daughter by cooking her in a microwave oven. Of all the horrendous, hideous ways to kill a person, Ms. China Arnold, of Dayton, Ohio, added one more way to kill a person, namely, an infant.


Time for WordPress plugin developers to take note of changes

WordPress 2.6 is the current stable version of the popular blogging software, although WordPress 2.6.1 beta 1 is available for download and testing.

Like with all tech development, plans must be made ahead of time for changes, whether it’s for a new operating system, new kernel in Linux/Unix, or changes to online software, such as WordPress or even a Webmail interface. With development, though, comes testing, trials, and of course, changes. Yes, I said that ominous word that many simply hate: change.


Jury finds Ritter’s death wasn’t negligent

The jury hearing the case of the late actor John Ritter’s wrongful death lawsuit, which demanded $67 million, evidently saw the actor himself played a role.
