Time for WordPress plugin developers to take note of changes

WordPress 2.6 is the current stable version of the popular blogging software, although WordPress 2.6.1 beta 1 is available for download and testing.

Like with all tech development, plans must be made ahead of time for changes, whether it’s for a new operating system, new kernel in Linux/Unix, or changes to online software, such as WordPress or even a Webmail interface. With development, though, comes testing, trials, and of course, changes. Yes, I said that ominous word that many simply hate: change.

Here’s a great plan — the Business plan — that I would suggest you consider using. I use a few of those, and right now, for $7.49 a month, how many of those plans could you get for the price you’re paying at your current host? If my memory serves correct, somewhere around 9-1/2 packages.

Windows Live Writer Makes Blogging Easier!

With Windows Live Writer, Microsoft has made blogging even easier and faster for folks. Sure, there was the tool that allowed you to create a blog entry from Microsoft Word, but that required folks to have Word. You could also simply login to the Web site of the blogging service, create your blog entry, and save it to your blog. But with Windows Live Writer, things are even easier than that!


So Microsoft has finally entered the Blog market, huh?
